These problems that are happening today came from abroad. Our duty is advice and reconciliation.” He stressed, “The reference is eager for the unity of the country, especially among all sects. We believe that national unity goes beyond all disagreements. The major role of the reference now is to help everyone out to the shore of safety.” He called Al Ja’fari’s government, “to get over this stage with all its hardships, as there is a more important stage ahead of it, which is drafting the constitution.” “During this period, it is hard for the government to solve all the problems of the country or prescribe a magical remedy for solutions especially for security, as drafting the constitution guarantees the rights of all sects and classes of the Iraqi people, which is important,” he added. “Islam does not accept the violation of anyone’s rights, whether is a small or a big entity, minority or majority,” he pointed out. He believed, “ The (Hawza), a Shia Muslim centre of religious education, in Najaf is the mother of all (Hawzas) in the world. We r4espect the status of (Hawzas) in Qum or elsewhere.”
