His Eminence, Grand Religious Authority, Sheikh Bashir Hussein Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life):

•   Commemorating the Fatimi mourning is a revival of the authentic Muhammadi religion and a renewal of allegiance to the Ahlulbayt (PBUT).

•  Lady Fatimah represents a great and grand role model for humanity, embodying the true perfection of humanity.

•   The Fatimi mourning is an annual ceremony to denounce all kinds of injustice and terrorism in all its forms, times, and places.

His Eminence, Grand Religious Authority, Sheikh Bashir Hussein Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) led crowds of mourners in the annual Fatimi March, which started this morning from his central office in Najaf Al-Ashraf towards the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (PBUH), to offer condolences to him and to the Imam of our time, the Awaited Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), on the death anniversary of his great grandmother Lady Al-Zahraa (PBUH).

His Eminence, Grand Religious Authority, Sheikh Bashir Hussein Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) headed a multitude of scholars from the seminary, its professors, and Iraqi students, as well as various Arab and foreign nationalities, in addition to the significant participation of Iraqi tribes, the Hussaini camps, and delegations representing the holy shrines, as well as various segments of Iraqi society from Najaf and different governorates of Iraq.

His Eminence, Grand Religious Authority, Sheikh Bashir Hussein Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) stated that the commemoration of the Fatimi mourning is a revival of the authentic Muhammadi religion and renewal of allegiance to the Ahlulbayt (PBUT), adding that Lady Fatimah (PBUH) endured tribulations and terrorism in defense of her father's religion, as ordained by Allah for the Muslims, and pointing out that the darkness that befell Lady Fatimah (PBUH) marked the beginning of the darkness that afflicted the Prophet's household.

 “Lady Fatimah (PBUH) represents a great and noble example for humanity and embodies the true perfection of the human being desired and loved by Allah. Every believer, especially women, should follow her path and take her as a role model in their life as daughters, wives, and ideal mothers.” His Eminence, Grand Religious Authority, Sheikh Bashir Hussein Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) said.

The march, which began at his blessed office, passed through Alrasool Street and entered the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful  (PBUH), chanting slogans of mourning and allegiance to the Prophet and his pure family (PBUT.

 The mourning ceremonies concluded with a visit to the sanctuary of Imam Ali (PBUH).

The representative of His Eminence, Grand Religious Authority, Sheikh Bashir Hussein Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), and his office director, Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy stated that the Fatimi mourning procession is an annual ritual through which the believers offer condolences to Imam Ali and his grandson Imam Mahdi on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Lady Fatimah (PBUH) according to the second narration martyrdom incident.

“The Fatimi mourning ceremonies are annual rituals to declare rejection of all forms of injustice and terrorism, in all its forms, times, and places, and the crime committed against the Lady of the Worlds is a crime against humanity.” He added.

He expressed his gratitude to the participating delegations, especially the scholars and religious figures, as well as the esteemed Iraqi tribal leaders, academics, intellectuals, and all sectors of society.
