* The Hawza and the University together form the backbone of a dignified life for Iraq and beyond; just as the Hawza interacts with Iraqi universities, it also seeks to collaborate with sound universities worldwide.

*  The scholars of the Hawza cannot dispense with the efforts of university graduates. Likewise, universities benefit from and are guided by the Hawza in all aspects of life through all its cadres and pioneers.

*  Allah Almighty has blessed us with the Hawza, located in Najaf Al-Ashraf, and with universities spread across our beloved homeland. It is well known that both blessings form the essential element of the believers' dignity.

*  It is unfortunate that some professors also participate officially in promoting atheism and deviant thoughts, while a professor is considered an educator, a guide, and a teacher.

*  University staff should prevent the spread of moral corruption in universities and strive to encourage students to adhere to religion and avoid what Satan invites.

The representative of His Eminence the Religious Authority Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) and the director of his central office in Najaf Al-Ashraf, Sheikh Ali Al-Najafi, participated in the Ninth International Scientific Conference of the Association of Specialized Studies between the Hawza and the University. The conference was organized by the Association of Specialized Studies between the Hawza and the University under the title "The Hawza and the University: Positions of the Past, Challenges of the Present, and Horizons of the Future."

In his speech, His Eminence the Religious Authority Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy, emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Hawza and the university to enhance the spread of sound awareness and benefit from the efforts of university graduates. He also warned against incorrect intellectual movements and atheistic tendencies in universities, stressing the role of the professor as a guide and teacher.

The statement emphasized the necessity for universities to uphold morals and religious commitment, and to avoid unjustified mixing between students.
