Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (May Allah prolong his life) welcomed a delegation representing Sayyid Al-Abtahi from the Islamic Republic of Iran, where he reiterated the significance of knowledge and communication between Islamic institutions.

The delegation's visit was to inquire about the health of the revered scholar and offer prayers for his continued well-being. In turn, Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafy (May Allah prolong his life) expressed his appreciation for the delegation’s visit, stressing the need for stronger relations between scholars and Islamic communities.

The delegation presented a collection of scholarly works from Sayyid Al-Abtahi’s institution, which were praised by His Eminence, emphasizing that knowledge and culture are essential in building a strong, unified nation.

The meeting concluded with prayers for peace and stability across the Islamic world, invoking the intercession of the Prophet Muhammad and his pure househoJld (Peace be upon them) on the Day of Judgment.
