Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) welcomed a delegation of media professionals and journalists from Najaf, accompanied by a team from Al-Furat Satellite Channel.

"You must be the open eyes and ears, observing and listening to what is happening in the world, so you may serve as guides for truth and justice," he said.

Ayatollah Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) urged the media professionals to uphold their professional responsibilities and prioritize serving Iraq and the community, reminding them of the importance of working with piety and self-accountability, stating, "The acceptance of one's work is linked to their piety, and the first step to piety is self-reflection."

The Grand Ayatollah (may Allah prolong his life) also highlighted the crucial role of the media in disseminating Islamic values and principles, pointing out that a dedicated media professional could be a source of goodness and guidance, even if the public is not directly aware of it.

He (may Allah prolong his life) encouraged them to continue providing advice and guiding the public in the best possible manner to serve Iraq and its people. "Iraq is the land of Ali and Hussein, and we must serve this nation sincerely to gain acceptance in both this world and the hereafter," he said.
