His Eminence, the Grand Religious Authority, Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Hussein Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), participated in the grand Fatimi march, which started from his central office in Najaf Al-Ashraf towards the shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). The march was held to offer condolences to the Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) on the anniversary of the death of his great-grandmother.

The march witnessed the presence of religious scholars, represented by professors and students of religious sciences, as well as the religious representatives and agents of the religious authority. It was also attended by the sheikhs and elders of the noble Iraqi tribes, their sons, academics, and holders of the Hussaini camps.

Renewing Allegiance and Reviving the Original Muhammadan Religion

His Eminence, the Grand Religious Authority, Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Hussein Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), emphasized that “reviving the Fatimi mourning is a renewal of loyalty to Ahlulbait (peace be upon them) and a revival of the authentic Muhammadan religion.”

He added that Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her) endured many trials to defend the religion of her father (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him and his family), making immense sacrifices for this cause.

Lady Fatimah (PBUH): A Symbol of Human Perfection

His Eminence, the Grand Religious Authority, Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Hussein Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life pointed out that Lady Fatimah (PBUH) represents a great role model for humanity and embodies the true perfection that Allah desires for mankind, calling on all believers - especially women - to tahe her exemple in life as a daughter, wife, and mother.

The Fatimi March: An Annual Commemoration of Religious Rituals

The representative of His Eminence, the Grand Religious Authority, Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Hussein Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) and the director of his central office in Najaf al-Ashraf, Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy, stated that “the Fatimi march is an annual mourning event through which the beleivers renew their rejection of oppression and terrorism in all its forms and eras.”

He stressed that the attack on Lady Fatimah (PBUH) was the gateway to all the calamities that befell the Islamic Ummah.

A Message of Loyalty and Sacrifice

The Fatimi march, which passed through Al-Rasool Street towards the shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH), witnessed the chanting of mourning and loyalty slogans for the Messenger of Allah and his pure family.

The ceremonies concluded with a mourning session at the sacred shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), followed by a visit to the tomb of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), expressing their love and loyalty to the Muhammadan path.
