Najaf – Grand Ayatollah Bashir Al-Najafi welcomed delegations of believers from the Islamic Republic of Iran, including professors and students from the religious seminary, alongside visitors from various Iranian cities and social sectors.

During the meeting, the Grand Ayatollah provided religious and spiritual advice, emphasizing the significance of visiting the sacred shrines in Najaf and other Iraqi cities as an opportunity for self-development and the promotion of ethical and spiritual values.

Highlighting Najaf’s esteemed status, he stated, "Najaf holds a great and noble virtue. It is even said in narrations that sleeping in Najaf is considered an act of worship. I love Najaf, and I love those who love Najaf."

He also encouraged visitors to use their pilgrimage as a means to strengthen family and societal values, expanding the influence of kindness and morality in their daily lives.

The meetings included discussions where the Grand Ayatollah answered visitors’ questions and elaborated on various spiritual and ethical concepts.
