His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) welcomed His Excellency the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Hassan Mohammed Al-Zaman, and his accompanying delegation.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Eminence Ayatollah Al-Najafy emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and Kuwait in social, political, and economic fields to serve the interests of the two brotherly nations.

His Eminence added that both the Iraqi and Kuwaiti peoples suffered under the tyranny and oppression of the former regime, stressing the need to utilize this phase to solidify fraternal relations between the two neighboring nations and work together to enhance security and stability in the region.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Zaman expressed his gratitude to Ayatollah Al-Najafy for the warm reception, acknowledging His Eminence's significant role in serving the Islamic nation and the religious seminary.

The ambassador also expressed appreciation for this valuable meeting opportunity, praising Ayatollah Al-Najafy's efforts in promoting moderation, centrism, and strengthening fraternal ties among Islamic nations.
