The office of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) welcomed visiting delegations from within Iraq and abroad—especially from the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of India, and a number of Gulf countries—to participate in the commemoration of the blessed Eid al-Ghadir at the shrine of Imam Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) in the holy city of Najaf.

The believers were welcomed by the representative of His Eminence, Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy (may he be supported), the director of the central office, as well as the esteemed scholar Sayyed Muhammad Taher Al-Jaza’iri.

The religious figures conveyed the guidance and advice of His Eminence (may his shadow endure) to the honorable visitors, congratulated them on the appointment of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) as the successor and caliph of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), and emphasized the importance of obedience to God, His Messenger, and the Ahlulbayt in attaining the blessings of this world and the Hereafter, and in earning the honor of loyalty and devotion to the Noble Prophet and his pure, righteous family (peace be upon them all).
