His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) received the Consul of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Najaf, Mr. Saeed Sayedin, and his accompanying delegation.

The visit was to express the Islamic Republic’s gratitude for the honorable stance of His Eminence , which was previously stated in an official declaration. His Eminence prayed for the martyrs of the Islamic Republic who fell victim to the cowardly Zionist terrorist attack, asking God Almighty to join them with the martyrs of sacred Karbala. He also blessed the great victories achieved by the Islamic Republic in its just war, praying for its ultimate triumph and for its leaders, soldiers, and people.

His Eminence described the victories by saying:

"The victories achieved by the Islamic Republic in its just defense are a source of pride and dignity. Were it not for biased and unjust American interference, the usurping Zionist entity could not have remained in existence."

He further emphasized:

"God has promised Muslims the blessing of victory through the Awaited Savior (may God hasten his reappearance), and this war holds great importance as it is a war against falsehood and oppression."

Regarding the threats directed at the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic (may his shadow endure), His Eminence stated:

"Such threats are condemned in the strongest terms and forewarn of catastrophic consequences for the region."

He called upon the entire Iranian people to unite and stand together and urged all the free people of the world and the Islamic world to stand by the Islamic Republic against the aggressor enemy, stressing that the plans of the enemy will not stop at Iran but will extend to encompass the entire region.
