His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) received the Iraqi Minister of Interior, Mr. Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, along with his accompanying delegation, who extended Eid al-Ghadir greetings to His Eminence.

His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) stressed the importance of citizens’ security and the protection of the homeland from all forms of harm and corruption.

The meeting discussed the latest developments in the security situation in Iraq and the region, including the regional developments’ impact on internal Iraqi affairs, the measures taken to safeguard national security and public safety, enhance internal stability, and continue efforts to secure borders from terrorist threats.
