Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy affirms: Arbaeen pilgrimage is a global gathering uniting those with living consciences and sincere love for Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them)

The representative of the Grand Religious Authority, Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may his shadow last), and Director of his central office in Al-NajafAl-Ashraf, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy, took part in the Arbaeen pilgrimage on the “Ya Hussein” route linking al-Najaf al-Ashraf to the holy city of Karbala.

During his participation, His Eminence met with the servants of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), organizers of the Hussaini processions, and throngs of pilgrims, conveying to them the greetings and prayers of the Grand Religious Authority (may Allah prolong his life) for success and the acceptance of their deeds.

Sheikh Al-Najafy stressed that reviving the Hussaini rituals is a revival of the religion and a reinforcement of the nation’s identity, pointing out that the “Ya Hussein” route represents a school of unity, virtue, and peace—where disputes and divisions vanish, and all gather under the banner of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

He added that this blessed march has united society, erasing all affiliations except the affiliation to the path of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). He called for utilizing the atmosphere of the pilgrimage to strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and cooperation, and to thwart all attempts of division targeting the nation.

His Eminence explained that the Arbaeen pilgrimage is a global meeting point that gathers all those who possess a living conscience and sincere love for Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). It is an opportunity to strengthen believers’ relationship with Allah Almighty through reciting the Holy Qur’an, serving the pilgrims, spreading good words, refining the soul, and reviving the religion and its noble morals.

In a related context, His Eminence inspected the Hussaini processions, tents, and lost persons guidance centers, praising their efforts, encouraging them, conveying to them the greetings and prayers of the Grand Religious Authority (may Allah prolong his life), and blessing their great generosity.
