Question:If a woman is married and her husband suffers from erectile dysfunction and has been unable to have marital relations with her for six years, does she have the right to annul the marriage contract, considering her need for intimacy? Is there an obligatory precaution in this matter?
Answer:In the name of Allah, she must first demand her marital rights or ask for a divorce. If the husband refuses, she should take the matter to the religious authority who will carry out his religious duty concerning the couple. Allah knows best.
