Question:A man passed away, leaving behind a wife, children, and several rented houses. The houses have not yet been sold. The wife has not yet received her share of the value of the buildings. The time for rent collection has come, and the eldest son of the deceased has collected the rent. Does the wife inherit from this rent or not?
Answer:In the name of Allah, it is important to know that the wife does not inherit the land, but she does inherit the building, trees, and movable property. If the house is rented, the rent should be collected with the consent of all the heirs, including the wife. The rent should be divided, and the rent of the land should be separated from the rent of the building. The wife inherits from the rent of the building but not from the rent of the land. Allah knows best.
Question:Question1: A person passed away and left a house for his heirs. After a while, one of the male heirs passed away, leaving behind a wife. Is the wife entitled to a share of her husband's entire share of the house (land and building or building only)? Question2: The state owns a piece of land and grants the usufruct (right to use and benefit from the land) to a person. This person has the right to sell the usufruct to another person. If the usufructuary (the person who holds the usufruct) dies and leaves behind a wife, does the wife inherit any part of the usufruct of that land? Question3: In the case of Question 2, after the death of the usufructuary, the government divides the usufruct of the land equally among the heirs of the deceased according to the civil law. What is the ruling of the Sharia (Islamic law)? Should this division be implemented, or should the division be based on the shares and portions of inheritance?
Answer:Answer2: In the name of Allah, in this case, the wife does not inherit. Allah knows best. Answer1: In the name of Allah, the wife is entitled to inherit the building only and the movable property left behind by the husband. Allah knows best. Answer3: In the name of Allah, it is necessary to adhere to the Sharia. Allah knows best, and He is the Guide.

Question:We are heirs who have inherited agricultural land from our deceased mother. We are two sons and five daughters. Should the land be divided equally among us, or does the son get twice the share of the daughter, as mentioned in the Quran (to the male, a portion equal to that of two females)?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if the land is legally owned by the deceased mother, it should be divided among her descendants, with the son receiving a share equal to that of two daughters. Allah knows best.
