Question:I would like to ask about the meaning of (heresy) in our Shiite doctrine? One of the scholars used to say that Allah commanded the Messenger (PBUH&HF) to announce the Imamate of the Commander of the Faithful (PBUH), and then he changed His command. For this reason, Imam Ali (PBUH) was not the first caliph?

Answer:In the name of Allah, heresy is incorporating things in religion which are not part of that religion. The Messenger (PBUH&HF) announced the Caliphate of Ali (PBUH) on Al-Ghadeer Day and other days and he did not retreat on that. How would you say this? Allah is the Guide.
