Answer:In the name of Allah, small amounts of water used for removing minor impurity (wudu) are pure and can purify from both minor and major impurity. Question:How do we judge water when it's considered plentiful, or when it's a small amount, and what are their respective quantities?
Answer:In the name of Allah, a small amount of water is the one that does not reach the quantity of abundant water in terms of both volume and weight, and it has its specific rulings. As for abundant water, there are two precise specifications: The first specification is that it should weigh a thousand and two hundred pounds based on the old Iraqi pound, which is equivalent to 393,120 grams. The second specification is in terms of volume, where its volume should be a cube measuring 43 and 7/8 cubits on each side. Typically, one cubit is approximately 21 centimeters. Allah knows best.
