Question:Is setting the timings of Ihram a prophetic ordain related to those times?
Answer:In the name of Allah, these times are for all of the mankind at all times until the Day of Resurrection. Allah Almighty has said (O people, I am Allah’s Messenger to you all). It is not intended only for the people present in his era and his apparent life, but all human beings - until the Day of Resurrection. His laws including defining the timings are the core of Sharia. Allah is the Guide, and Knowing.
Question:It is mentioned in "Haj Rituals" for His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) in Issue No. (177): If one leaves Mecca after finishing the acts of Umrah without Ihram and he skips the time schedules, there are two cases here: The first is that he returns before completing his month of Umrah. The question is what is meant by "month" here? Is it the normal month of 30 days or the lunar month?
Answer:In the name of Allah, it means sightseeing the crescent of the next new month. Allah knows best.
Question:It is mentioned in the Rituals of Hajj by His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) in the matter (177): If he leaves Mecca after completing the Umrah without entering Ihram and exceeding the meeqats, then there are two cases: The first is that his return is before passing a month from his return. The question: What is meant by the month here? Is it the numerical month (30) days, or is it the lunar month?
Answer:In the name of Allah, it is the lunar month. Allah knows best.
Question:What is the ruling on the meeqaat of the Aisha Mosque in Mecca for single and multiple Umrah?
Answer:In the name of Allah, the Valley of Al-Tan’eem is all regarded as meeqaat, and there is nothing wrong with praying two rak'ahs in the aforementioned mosque. As for Ihram, it is sufficient for every point in the valley. Allah knows best.
Question:Our question is about the suspicion: is the meeqaat called Wadi al-Sail attached to the houses in Taif?
Answer:In the name of Allah, yes, it is attached to the houses, but what is meant by the houses is that the ones which were in the era of the Prophet (PBUH). To identify them, one may ask the residents of the region, they know better than others. Allah is the all-Guide.
Question:Can anyone enter Mecca without Ihram? If the answer is yes, how is that?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if a man dwells outside Mecca farther than the legal distance, then it is not permissible for him to enter it without Ihram. However, if the distance is small, it is permissible to enter it without Ihram. The same matter is applicable to the person whose work requires exiting from Mecca and entering it according to the work. All the woodcutter, the grass cutter, the shepherd of animals and the like can enter without Ihram due to their work. These are detailed in our book “The Rituals of Hajj”. Allah knows best.
Question:My husband and I are in your Taqleed, and we want to go to Hajj, but we have two children; one is in the ninth month of age and the other is three years and five months. So, should they wear Ihram?
Answer:In the name of Allah, the guardian of the child must strip the male child of the clothes and wrap him in the garment of Ihram and teach the child the Talbia, if possible, and if not, the guardian will recite the Talbia for him. Allah knows best.
Question:Is it permissible to start Ihram from the plane when nearing the timing meeqaat?
Answer:In the name of Allah, how can a person do that and the plane passes less than the blink of the eye from the meeqaat. The person who cannot enter in the state of Ihram from the meeqaat must start Ihram from the airport and ride the plane while in the state of Ihram and go down in Jeddah which is inside the sanctuary and go to Mecca. In this case, the atonement of shading is required. Allah knows best.
Question:If the pilgrim is going to go for Hajj via Jeddah and he wants to enter the state of Ihram from the slightest solution, is it permissible for him to go to the accommodation first to put his bags and then return to Al-Tanaem Mosque to enter the state of Ihram from it, and if it is permissible, is it permissible for him to delay Ihram from day to night?
Answer:In the name of Allah, this all is permissible, but it is not permissible for the one who lives outside the Great Mosque to enter the sanctuary without Ihram. Rather, he must enter the state of Ihram from one of the known timings. Yes, if he is unable to do this for one reason or another and enter Mecca without Ihram, he must wear Ihram at least from Al-Tanaem Mosque. Allah knows best.
