Question:I work in Jeddah- Saudi Arabia. Is it permissible to go to Mecca for normal visitation without Ihram?
Answer:In the name of Allah, it is not permissible to enter Mecca without Ihram for a single Umrah in other than Hajj days and also in enjoyment Umrah. Allah knows best.
Question:What is the ruling of taking the stones (jamarat) outside Mecca, like taking them to one's country?
Answer:In the name of Allah, It is not permissible, Allah knows best.
Question:Do we pray a shortened prayer in the Sacred Mosque (Almasjid Alharam) or in all places of Mecca and Medina?
Answer:In the name of Allah, the traveler is free to choose shortened or full prayer in both masjids only until they are widened. Allah knows best.
Question:Is it permissible to prostrate on mats or carpets during Hajj?
Answer:In the name of Allah, it is not permissible if there is a possibility to prostrate on the ground. Yes, it is permissible only in the case of Taqyia. Allah knows best.
