Question:If a person who is performing Hajj chooses to spend the first half of the night Mina: 1.Is it required for him to arrive in Mina before sunset, or is it sufficient to arrive before the disappearance of the eastern redness? 2.For calculating the end of the overnight stay in this scenario, is the half calculated from sunset to dawn or to sunrise?
Answer:1. In the name of Allah, according to the scenario described in the question, the person must be in Mina before sunset to ensure that he is in Mina from the beginning of the night. Allah knows best. 2. In the name of Allah, the night is calculated from sunset to sunrise. Allah knows best.
