Question:Is it recommended to perform Tawaf al-Nisa (the Tawaf around the Kaaba for women) after performing Umrah al-Tamattu (Umrah followed by Hajj)?
Answer:In the name of Allah, be advised, my son, that part of the obligation of performing Hajj al-Tamattu includes considering Umrah and Hajj as a single obligation. Although it is permissible for the one performing Umrah to do some acts that are impermissible for the pilgrim in the state of Ihram, such as marital relations for women between Umrah and Hajj, Tawaf al-Nisa should only be done after completing Hajj. Allah knows best.
Question:What is the ruling on a Sunni person married to a Shiite woman in the circumambulation of women? If the circumambulation of women is not performed, is it permissible for both to have sexual intercourse?
Answer:In the name of Allah. If the husband has performed the farewell circumambulation according to the Sunni rules instead of the circumambulation of women, which Shiite perform, then it is permissible for him to do what was mentioned.
Question:A Sunni husband asks his Shiite wife about the circumambulation of women in umrah and prevents her from performing it, explaining that there is no text, hadith or verse about that. Can you please recommend me some sources?
Answer:In the name of Allah, there are interrelated narrations of Ahlulbait (PBUH). It is not permissible for the Sunnis to prevent his Shiites wife from performing her doctrine, and it is not permissible for her to obey him in that. She has to perform the circumambulation of women as it is detailed in our Guide of the Islamic Rules and she doesn’t need her husband's permission in doing that as these acts are obligatory. Allah knows best.
Question:One of the Shi'a people performed Hajj, and when he was asked to perform the circumambulation of women, he denounced and said that there is only the circumambulation of the visit or the farewell tawaaf believing of its obligation. Does that suffice him from performing the women circumambulation?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if he is a Shiite, he will not be sufficed, but if he is a Sunni, he is sufficed.
Question:If someone denies the circumambulation of the women and did circumambulation with a different intention and if the circumambulation is obligatory on him and refused to do it, then, what is the rule concerning the marriage relation with his wife?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if he is a Shiite, he is forbidden to enjoy his wife, even by seeing her, but, if he is Sunni then it is not forbidden only if the latter does the farewell circumambulation. Allah knows best.
Question:What is the circumambulation of women and is it obligatory? And who is obligatory on?
Answer:In the name of Allah, it is a circling of seven rounds around the Ka'aba with two circumambulation ruqa'a (prostration). The circumambulation is performed in single Umra and Hajj. It is obligatory on men and women. Men are forbidden to women and vice versa even if they were married before or not. And the forbiddingness would be removed after circumambulation is performed with two ruqa'a. Allah knows best
