Question:We are partners in an enterprise working in the field of investment and construction. We have an agreement between the two parties that the profits are divided equally between the two parties since the beginning of the establishment, and each party bears the losses and risks in everything related to the business. Is it permissible for one of the parties to conclude investment agreements or a construction project with others by exploiting the name of the institution, its projects, its reputation, its contracts, and other things for its own benefit, and taking the profits from the project, knowing that this party is the owner of the institution with the official authorities?
Answer:In the name of Allah, the agreement concluded between the partners must be adhered to, and no one may ignore that agreement without the consent of the other. Allah knows best.
