Question:Can we say that disappearance of the Imam (AJ) is characterized as "absolute" because anybody who claims meeting him is a liar or slanderer? Or because it is characterized by continuing for a long time? And is the minor disappearance characterized as such because the four ambassadors were meeting him? Or because it was for a short time?
Answer:In the name of Allah: The minor disappearance was not absolute and not all the believers were deprived of meeting him (AJ). So, the disappearance was partial and not absolute. After the death of the fourth ambassador, the major (absolute) disappearance started. Put differently, he (AJ) no longer has an ambassador or mediator between him and his Shia whether this mediation is for religious, political, social or general issues. This does not mean nobody can even have a look at him. Some lucky people did see him like what happened to some of the believers. Allah knows best.
