His Eminence, The Religious Authority Ayatollah Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), welcomed a delegation of believers from the city of Basra, who came to perform the rituals of visiting the Commander of the Faithful (PBUH) and offering condolences to the Master of our Time, the Awaited Imam (may our souls be sacrificed for his sake), on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of his grandfather, Imam Al-Sadiq (PBUH).
In his speech, His Eminence, The Religious Authority Ayatollah Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), offered paternal recommendations and guidance, emphasizing the obligation to adhere to the sacred Sharia, stay away from prohibitions and sins in daily life and social relationships, and fulfill daily worship as prescribed by the People of the House (PBUT), as they are Allah's (Glory be to Him) proofs upon all of humanity. He added that every action should be accompanied by seeking proximity to Allah (Glory be to Him) to be worthy of acceptance, and that the basis of every action should be piety, as it is the criterion of acceptance and rejection.
His Eminence, The Religious Authority Ayatollah Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life clarified that the first step of piety is self-accountability for every small or big action or word, and the keenness to rectify mistakes towards others, as well as sincere repentance to Allah (Glory be to Him) to seek forgiveness for sins and transgressions, emphasizing to the believers the importance of showing kindness and righteousness towards their parents during their lives and after their deaths, especially towards their mothers, as they were keen on raising them to be loyal to the Commander of the Faithful (PBUH), and this is a great deed.
