Al-Najafy: Time is your most valuable asset; do not waste it on unproductive internet use.

Al-Najafy: Be a leader in your community through effort, excellence, and investing time in seeking knowledge.

The representative of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah the Religious Authority Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolng his life) and the director of his central office in Najaf, Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy, welcomed a delegation of youth from the Al-Furat Al-Awsat Scouts, offering a series of guidance and advice focused on the importance of prayer, drawing closer to Allah, and building a strong relationship with the Creator as the foundation for a successful and stable life.

Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy began by stressing the importance of prayer as a fundamental pillar in the life of a believer, stating: "Prayer is the foremost manifestation of servitude to Allah (Glory be to Him)... If accepted, all other deeds are accepted, and if rejected, all other deeds are rejected."

He added that prayer is the first thing Allah will examine on the Day of Judgment, saying: "The first thing Allah will look at in our deeds is our prayer. If it is accepted, then the rest of our deeds will be accepted. Therefore, prayer is the foundation of all success."

He urged the youth to adhere to prayer and improve their relationship with Allah, considering prayer as the believer's military parade before the Creator. He said: "Allah (Glory be to Him) created man and pondered the greatness of His creation. This body contains marvelous signs that man, despite scientific advancements, cannot fully comprehend, and He endowed him with blessings, senses, and features to live a dignified life."

He pointed out the importance of repentance and returning to Allah regardless of sins, recalling the story of Al-Hurr ibn Yazid Al-Riyahi and how his sincere repentance was accepted by Allah as informed by Imam Hussein (peace be upon him): "If you repent with true, sincere repentance for Allah, Allah will accept it from you."

Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy emphasized the role of youth in building the future of the nation, stressing the importance of effort and work to achieve success.

"By putting in the appropriate effort, you will reach the solution and the forefront, become distinguished, and contribute to building your community." He said.

He underscored the need to make use of available opportunities, saying: "You have the opportunity to engage and contribute, and thus you have the opportunity to be a leader in your community."

In his remarks about the importance of youth's time, Sheikh Al-Najafy warned against wasting time on unproductive internet use, stressing the necessity of investing it in seeking knowledge and developing skills. He said: "The internet can be a useful tool if used correctly, but we must be cautious of addiction to social media and video games that consume our time without benefit."

"Invest your time in reading, learning, and self-development, as time is your most valuable asset and cannot be recovered if lost," concluding by emphasizing the pillars of progress and excellence with the conditions of time and the pursuit of knowledge, saying: "Be a leader in your community by putting in the effort, excelling, and investing time in seeking knowledge." He added.

Al-Najafy prayed to Allah (Glory be to Him) to protect the youth of Iraq and guide them towards the path of guidance, righteousness, and progress.
