humanitarian issue. His Eminence,
Grand Ayatollah the Religious Authority Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah
prolong his life) welcomed a delegation of university professors, experts, and
specialists in water and desertification issues, along with a delegation from
the Holy Hussaini Shrine. During the
meeting, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah the Religious Authority Sheikh Bashir
Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) emphasized the importance of water and
its impact on people's lives, stressing the necessity for government and academic
institutions to take their role in facing the upcoming stage and its serious
challenges for the country. He pointed out
that the water cut-off by the Turkish state is a humanitarian issue, which is a
subject of significant follow-up and attention, and the need to stay updated on
developments. His Eminence,
Grand Ayatollah the Religious Authority Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah
prolong his life) also listened to the delegation's insights regarding the
water situation in Iraq. The delegation expressed their gratitude and
appreciation to His Eminence for his great attention to this issue and for
