The Office of His Eminence the Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi’s Representative in the province of Basra, Zubair district, held a Majlis of Husayni mourning.

During the mourning session, Sheikh Hameed Al-Kaabi spoke about the importance of taking great lessons and insights from the lives and journeys of our Imams (peace be upon them), who presented the most magnificent examples of sacrifice and struggle in order to elevate the Word of Allah, crush falsehood, support the truth, and grant every rightful person their due.

Al-Kaabi added that they ruled by the laws revealed by Allah Almighty, seeking His satisfaction for the happiness and well-being of humanity, never pursuing worldly gains. Their sole concern was to place us on the path of guidance, justice, and fairness. They sacrificed their noble lives as a high price for that.

"Our Imams (peace be upon them) offered all of this with complete contentment, so that Islam may prevail even if it takes time, with the victory of the truth that their enemies sought to erase and dominate. Their way of life and teachings remain an excellent example for us to follow, rejecting their enemies from the sons of Satan, the Umayyads, the Abbasids, their unjust rulers, and their Pharaohs. The signs of victory have begun to emerge, as the followers of Iblis intensify their oppression, persecution, and killing of believers. The time has come for the truth to be unveiled and for the knight to appear, Allah willing." He further explained.

Al-Kaabi expressed his condolences on the occasion of the Arbaeen of Imam Husain (peace be upon him), the pure members of his household, and his companions to the sanctified Imam al-Mahdi, son of Al-Hasan (peace be upon them both), to our esteemed scholars, and to the Islamic nation, especially the Shia followers of Ahl Al-Bait (peace be upon them all).
