His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (May Allah prolong his life) welcomed delegations of pilgrims from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and India who had come to Iraq to visit the holy shrines and seek spiritual and religious guidance from the religious authority.

At the beginning of the meetings, His Eminence (May Allah prolong his life) extended a warm welcome to the visitors and offered them fatherly advice and guidance. He (May Allah prolong his life) emphasized the sacredness of Iraqi soil and the importance of its holy shrines, including the shrine of our master, Imam Ali (Peace be upon him) in Najaf, and the shrine of Imam Hussain (Peace be upon him) in Karbala, among others. He reminded them that Iraq was the capital of the Islamic state during the time of Imam Ali (Peace be upon him) and will be the capital of the promised Islamic state led by his grandson, the awaited Imam Al-Mahdi (May Allah hase his reappearance).

His Eminence (May Allah prolong his life) urged the visitors to ensure that their pilgrimage leaves a positive and profound impact on their lives by adhering to the teachings and path of the Imams of Ahlul Bayt (Peace be upon them), stressing the importance of following religious teachings, deepening their understanding of the religion, and distinguishing between truth and falsehood, as well as lawful and unlawful matters, to ensure that their pilgrimage is accepted by Allah (Exalted be He).

At the end of the meetings, His Eminence prayed to Allah (Exalted is He) to protect the believers, guide them to the righteous path, and expressed his appreciation for their commitment to visiting the holy shrines and seeking nearness to Allah through these blessed places.
