The representative of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), and the director of his central office in Najaf, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy, participated in the funeral gatherings held for the souls of the victims of the tragic incident that occurred at a shopping center in Wasit province.

He extended his condolences to the grieving families, praying to the Almighty (Glorified be His Name) for a speedy recovery for the injured.

This participation was on behalf of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), as an expression of sincere sympathy to the families of the victims and to stand by them in this great tragedy, conveying the condolences and prayers of the religious authority for mercy and forgiveness for the deceased, and quick recovery for the wounded.

During the visit, Sheikh Ali stressed that this tragedy touches the conscience of every Iraqi, calling on the concerned authorities to take necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of such painful incidents.
