In celebration of the arrival of mid-Sha'ban night, the anniversary of the birth of the savior of humanity, Imam Al-Mahdi Al-Muntadhar (may Allah  hasten his noble reappearance), a ceremony was held at the central office of His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi (May Allah prolong his life ), in Najaf Ashraf to bestow the blessed turban upon a number of religious sciences students from Iraq and Pakistan.

During the ceremony, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi (May Allah prolong his life ), offered a number of important recommendations to the students, emphasizing that the pursuit of knowledge should be the primary concern of the seminary student, and that it should be undertaken with the intention of drawing closer to Allah  Almighty, far removed from any worldly interests, along with the necessity of purifying the heart from impurities and grudges.

His Eminence stressed the importance of persevering in continuous study, reading, and revision, and benefiting from the experiences of great scholars and jurists who dedicated most of their lives to the pursuit of knowledge, serving the school of thought of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him), affirming that knowledge is a message and a responsibility before being merely a status or position.
