The representative of the office of His Eminence
Ayatollah al-Najafi (may Allah prolonged his life) in Basra Governorate
participated in supporting the launch of summer courses for academic school
students, which include lessons in jurisprudence, ethics, creed, and religious sciences. Sheikh Muthanna al-Rubaie emphasized that the summer
courses represent a genuine opportunity to prepare a conscious generation that
carries the principles of Islam and the values of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be
upon them). He pointed out that investing in the upbringing of children is the
most important investment in building society and preserving its identity, and
that the distinguished attendance and great interaction from students, along
with the support of local residents, reflects the extent of interest in sound
religious education and encourages the development and expansion of these
programs. He explained that these courses aim to instill concepts
of jurisprudence, ethics, and creed in an educational manner appropriate for
the age of the youth, enabling them to face intellectual and cultural
challenges. He praised the great role played by the residents of the Al-Deir
district in embracing these initiatives, affirming that cooperation between the
religious institution, the family, and society represents the fundamental
pillar in preparing a faithful generation that serves its religion and country
with sincerity.
He added that these courses come as part of a series of educational and outreach programs aimed at utilizing the summer vacation for the benefit and advantage of young people, by offering academic and educational lessons that contribute to building a conscious and committed personality. |
