The Representative of the Office of His Eminence Grand
Ayatollah the Religious Authority Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong
his life) in Nineveh province, Sayyid Abdul Majid al-Mousawi, continued
providing his services to the esteemed pilgrims within the Hussaini service
paths, in the fields of religious communication, preaching, and guidance. A
religious lecture was also held covering the life of Imam Hassan the Sabt
al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) and his fragrant biography, coinciding with the
anniversary of his painful martyrdom. Sayyid Abdul Majid al-Mousawi said: "Serving the
pilgrims of Aba Abdillah al-Hussain (peace be upon him) is a great honor and a
faith-based responsibility that we are keen to perform in a manner befitting
the status of this blessed pilgrimage. Holding prayers and religious lectures
along the pilgrims' paths aims to combine service with awareness and enhance
knowledge of the biography of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their
righteous path." He added: "Speaking about Imam Hassan al-Mujtaba
(peace be upon him) on the path of the pilgrims represents an important
opportunity to remind of his oppression and to clarify his great role in
preserving the course of Islam." He affirmed that the uprising of Imam
Hussain (peace be upon him) was not separate from the stages that preceded it,
but rather came as an extension of the project of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be
upon them) in defending religion and safeguarding its great values.
He explained that the Representative Office continues to provide its services through establishing daily obligatory prayers, participating in the Hawza educational guidance project for preaching and religious communication, sponsored by the noble religious seminary (Hawza 'Ilmiyya), which contributes to enhancing religious awareness and consolidating authentic Islamic values and principles among the esteemed pilgrims. |
