REPRESENTATIVE OF HIS EMINENCE THE RELIGIOUS AUTHORITY AL-NAJAFY TO A DELEGATION FROM BAGHDAD:The religious identity of the Iraqi people is a source of dignity and honor. It is a clear extension of the Ahlulbait (PBUT) and the concept of monotheism 19/5/2023 |
• The strength of the Iraqi people and their adherence to their religion and religious authority in Najaf Al-Ashraf, as well as their victory over terrorist forces, have made them the target of strong and organized planning to control and dominate them. The representative of His Eminence the Religious Authority Ayatollah Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) and the director of his central office in Najaf al-Ashraf, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), welomed a delegation of believers who came to perform the visitation rituals of the Commander of the Faithful (PBUH) from the Harithiya area in the capital Baghdad. He met with them at Al-Asimiyah Husseiniyah. His Eminence affirmed that Iraq possesses a deep identity that has extended over thousands of years, representing civilizations and cultures. It is a source of dignity and honor for its citizens throughout history, as it reflects the intellectual and cultural awareness of the Iraqi people since ancient times. "The religious identity of the Iraqi people is a source of dignity and honor. It is a clear extension of the Ahlulbait (PBUT) and the concept of monotheism. This identity is part of the ethics of individuals, society, customs, and traditions they were raised upon, making them a distinct, strong, and united people." Sheik Ali Al-Najafy stated. He emphasized the importance of adhering to this identity and confronting all conspiracies aimed at distorting and changing it with imported identities from other nations with lesser history, civilization, and faith. His Eminence added that the strength of the Iraqi people and their adherence to their religion and religious authority in Najaf Al-Ashraf, as well as their victory over terrorist forces, have made them the target of strong planning by powers and systems seeking to control and dominate them by influencing their thoughts, beliefs, and morals, and spreading various forms of deviation. |
