The representative of His Eminence the Grand Ayatollah
Religious Authority Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) and
the director of his central office, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy welcomed
several delegations from the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan separately. These visits come within the daily program of the
office to welcome delegations of visitors coming to visit the holy shrines,
seek blessings, and learn about the directives of the religious authority in
Najaf Al-Ashraf. The representative of His Eminence welcomed the
delegations, conveying the prayers and greetings of His Eminence to them. His
Eminence clarified the virtue of visiting the shrine of Amir al-Mu'minin and
the pure Imams (peace be upon them all) and seeking blessings in these pure
sanctuaries to draw closer to Allah and to supplicate to Allah in the presence
of the Imam to be witnesses to them, and to attain abundant rewards in
performing worship in these holy places. He also discussed the special merits of the visit to
the shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and its great and important status
in the teachings of our true religion. The visitor to the shrine of Imam Ali
(peace be upon him) receives immeasurable rewards in every step, so that they
return to their home laden with great rewards and immense merits. Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy also pointed out the signs of
acceptance of the visit for the believer, which include positive changes in
their behavior, actions, and deeds, emphasizing that the individual should make
all their actions sincere for Allah and seek His pleasure in them, and that the
foundation of accepting deeds lies in self-accountability, seeking repentance,
and constant seeking of forgiveness to attain piety.
