The representative of His Eminence the Religious Authority Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) and the director of his central office, Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy, participated in the ceremony of replacing the flag at the shrine of Zaid ibn Ali Al-Shaheed (peace be upon him) to mark the arrival of the month of sorrow, blood, and pain, Muharram Al-Haram, in mourning for the tragedy that befell the family of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon them) in Karbala.

In his address to the attendees, he conveyed several directives and advice from His Eminence the Religious Authority Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), which emphasized the importance of commemorating the mourning and holding ceremonies for Aba Abdillah Al-Hussein (peace be upon him). He stressed that affiliation with the Prophet Muhammad and his family (peace be upon them) is an integral part of the Iraqi identity, which has shed rivers of blood to uphold its principles, sanctities, and love for the family of purity and infallibility.

He praised the efforts of the servants of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), who have shown remarkable sacrifice and dedication without fatigue or exhaustion, praying for their protection, success, and acceptance of their efforts.

He concluded his speech with several pieces of advice regarding Hussaini matters, praying to Allah to enable those involved in this effort, especially the servants of the holy shrines and sacred sites, to achieve success and righteousness.
