The office of the Grand Religious Authority, Sheikh Bashir Hussein Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), continues to welcome visiting delegations from the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of the blessed Arbaeen pilgrimage activities, with separate meetings held with each delegation during the days of the visitation.

The meetings included guiding speeches that cited narrations about Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), affirming that his true followers are those whose hearts are free from deceit and hypocrisy, and that true affiliation is manifested in deep faith and continuous self-accountability.

Heading the reception of the delegations was Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy, representative of Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life), alongside Sayyid Muhammad Tahir Al-Jaza’iri (may he be preserved). The speakers stressed that reviving religion begins with purity of heart and upright conduct, drawing on the guidance of the Imams (peace be upon them) regarding the necessity of reviewing one’s deeds and aligning them with the values of the Holy Qur’an and the qualities of the believers, while avoiding reliance on slogans and outward appearances.
