Holy Najaf – His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafi, the representative of the Najaf Marja' (may Allah prolong his life) and the director of his central office in Holy Najaf, received the crowds of mourners arriving from various Iraqi provinces to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) according to the third narration. This took place within the annual mourning season witnessed by the holy city.

During the reception, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafi delivered a guiding speech in which he reviewed stages from the blessed biography of Lady Zahra (peace be upon her), explaining her prophetic status and her central role in defending the message of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), and the great sacrifices she offered to safeguard the principles and authentic values of Islam.

His Eminence pointed out the necessity of emulating the morals, steadfastness, and patience of Lady Zahra (peace be upon her) in the face of tribulations, calling on the youth to adhere to the path of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and to comply with the guidance of the religious authorities, as it is the responsible extension for preserving the religion and entrenching Islamic awareness in society.

He also emphasized the pioneering role of the scholars and the righteous religious authorities  in protecting and enlightening society, praising the presence of the mourners and their interaction with this sorrowful occasion, which is a station for renewing the covenant to reject injustice and falsehood, and to revive the values of justice and truth upon which the biography of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) was established.
