Najaf Ashraf — The representative of the esteemed Marja' Ayatollah Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) and the director of his office, Sheikh Ali al-Najafi, participated in the funeral procession of the martyrs of the recent events, which was held at the holy shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH), in the presence of a gathering of believers and the families of the martyrs, amidst an atmosphere overshadowed by grief and sorrow due to the painful developments the country has witnessed.

His Eminence's participation came as an expression of solidarity with the families of the martyrs and standing by them in this immense tragedy. He offered condolences and sympathy, affirming the greatness of the sacrifices made by the martyrs in defense of the homeland and sanctities, and stressing the importance of solidarity and unity in facing challenges.

His Eminence also called for the necessity of patience and steadfastness, asking Almighty God to envelop the martyrs in His vast mercy, to grant the wounded a speedy recovery, and to protect Iraq and its people from all harm.

The funeral ceremonies concluded with prayers and supplications for the martyrs, asking for mercy and forgiveness, and for their families to be granted patience and solace.
