The camp of His
Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life), commemorated
the anniversary of the passing of the noble lady, Fatima Al-Masuma (peace be
upon her), in the holy city of Qom. The event saw wide participation from the
faithful, mourning processions, and Hussaini delegations arriving from various
regions across the Islamic Republic of Iran and abroad. The procession’s
delegation took part in the mourning ceremonies held at the Holy Shrine of Lady
Fatima Al-Masuma (peace be upon her), reflecting its continuous presence in
commemorating religious occasions and contributing to the service of pilgrims
and mourners during this solemn event. On the service
front, the procession served more than 20,000 meals to pilgrims and mourning processions
over three consecutive days in the Al-Ghadir Courtyard of the Holy Shrine of
Lady Fatima Al-Masuma (peace be upon her). This initiative was part of its
ongoing efforts to meet the needs of visitors and help create suitable
conditions for performing the mourning rituals. Haj Ahmed
Al-Showk, a servant of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), stated that the
procession's participation in commemorating the passing of Lady Fatima
Al-Masuma (peace be upon her) stems from a religious and humanitarian responsibility
toward serving pilgrims and upholding the rituals of the Ahlulbayt (peace be
upon them). Al-Showk added: "Serving the
pilgrims of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) is an honor and a responsibility
we take immense pride in. Through the presence of the procession of His
Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life) in the holy
city of Qom, we strive to provide all possible services to pilgrims and
mourning processions, out of loyalty to this tragic occasion and in reverence
of the high status of the noble lady, Fatima Al-Masuma (peace be upon her)."
He further noted that distributing over 20,000 meals over three days reflects the extensive efforts exerted by the procession members and volunteers to ensure the success of the service initiative and to support the visiting mourners and processions. |
