Question:If the person who is to fast was in a state of ritual impurity (janabat state) and did not perform the ritual washing (ghusl) out of laziness, and when time was short, he did tayammum [soil ablution], is his fast valid with this tayammum?

Answer:In the name of Allah, if the ritual occurred before the time of refraining from fasting invalidators in the morning, then it is not valid. Additionally, he must make it up and pay atonement. Allah knows best.

Question:What is the ruling of inhaling steam while fasting?

Answer:In the name of Allah, as long as you are not sure whether you are in a state of ritual impurity, then your fast is valid. Answer:In the name of Allah, if it is entered through the mouth, then the fast is invalidated, and if it is entered through the nose and passed through the throat (pharynx), then the fast is also affected. Otherwise, fasting is not affected. Allah knows best.

Question:Is the fast of a person who slanders Allah intentionally or unintentionally valid?

Answer:In the name of Allah, this one has invalidated his fast and he has to abstain for the rest of the day from fasting invalidators, perform it a missed fast, and atone for it. Allah is the Guide and Knowing.

Question:Is it permissible to use the toothbrush while fasting? I can use Colgate of Sensodyne (types of Toothpaste) which do not leave a taste on my tongue after rinsing my mouth. However, this taste is not nice and I do not let any of it to go down to my throat. Therefore, is it permissible to clean my teeth while fasting when I am certain that I will not swallow it?
