Question:Is it permissible for a woman to cook during mourning ceremonies and on the martyrdom anniversaries of the Imams (peace be upon them) while she is on her menstrual period?
Answer:In the name of Allah, it is permissible for her to do so. Allah knows best.
Question:Is it permissible to dye my hair during my menstrual period? What is the ruling if I dyed it on the fifth day when there was still a little bit of blood?
Answer:In the name of Allah, there is no objection to that. Allah knows best.
Question:In the name of Allah, be informed my son that washing means moving the water on the area to be washed. If the water is poured on the middle of the face and then the hand is raised higher than the area on which the water is poured then it is lowered, the process of washing the face from the hairline is not accomplished. The order of washing is from top to bottom; the top of the face must be washed before washing the bottom. If a person has a forehead equal in height in regards to the hairline such that the hairline from the right side is not higher than that of the middle or the left side, then in such a case, the person is free to start washing from any point of the hairline whether the right side, left or middle. If the middle of the forehead is higher, as in most people, then the middle of the forehead must be washed first, which is higher than other sides. Allah knows best.
Answer:In the name of Allah, as in the question, intercourse is not permissible, because the maximum period of menstruation is ten days. All that a woman sees of blood during the ten days is menstruation. All believing husbands and my daughters know that menstruation is not a continuous flow of blood like water in a tube, but usually appears as drops which may have intervals between one drop and the other. If the woman is assured that it has stopped, she must pray, but if some bleeding occurs before the completion of the ten days, she is still menstruating. Allah knows best.
Question:In the name of Allah, the Istibraa is required. If man or woman does not do it and a wet substance comes out whether a urine or not then his ablution becomes invalid. Allah knows best.
Answer:In the name of Allah, the recitation is allowed except for the Azaiem Surahs (the four Surahs which demand prostration "Sujood"). Yet it has to be performed without touching the letters or symbols of the Quran and there is no problem also in carrying the Quran and touching other than what is mentioned above. Allah knows best.
Question:During menstruation, are the clothes worn by a woman religiously impure or not? If not, can it be worn again without washing and religiously purified?
Answer:In the name of Allah, the clothes are pure, unless they are stained with impure substances. Allah knows best.
Question:If a complex menses does not occur, then is there an objection to the ruling of the blood seen by a woman in the third month at the same date of the first month and the blood seen in the fourth month at the same date of the second month menstruation on the basis of the rule of menstruation? If not like menstruation whether in timing or features, can it be regarded as menstruation?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if the menses is regular, the menses conditions rule is of no use here. She must adhere to the requirement of the regular menses, even if the characteristics of blood change between one month and another, even within one month. If there is no menses and the blood continues, she can follow the rule of menses conditions. Allah knows best.
Question:If the menstrual blood is cut off before the ten days, if she expects that the blood keeps in the womb, does she have to be purified and test her condition in order to know that the blood is cut off or not?
Answer:In the name of Allah, she must look into it. Allah knows best.
Question:Does the menstrual period take place by signs? If a woman sees blood in a month twice consecutively without knowing that she is menstruating, but since she was as menstruating she makes menstruation based on the signs, then in the third month she sees yellow blood losing the characteristics of menstruation, then what should this woman do? Should she make herself of a regular period, and consider this yellow blood menstruation, given that she saw it in her period even though she lost the signs, or would she make herself having the pre/post-menstruation blood and having irregular period as long as she is not sure that the previous two bleedings are menstruation?
Answer:In the name of Allah, the blood must continue at a certain time in two months until the period is stable for her, and if the period does not settle, then she must do a check up on what distinguishes menstruation from other bleeding. Allah knows best.
Question:If the blood is on the days of menses and is not as menstruation, or is as menstruation and not on the days of menses; do you consider it menstruation or pre/post-menstruation?
Answer:In the name of Allah, the blood on the days of the usual menstrual is definitely blood of menses even if it has no characteristics of menses. The unusual blood seen by the woman whose menses is regular is not menstruation. If the woman’s menses become irregular, she can refer to discrimination in the ways described in our Guide of Islamic Rules (Risala Amalyah). Allah is the All-Guide and Knowing.
Question:Some of the great scholars of religion say that if a pregnant woman sees blood before the delivery of the child, and she is certain that the blood is of menstruation, she does what the menstruating woman does, with no difference between being separated from the birth by ten days (less or more) or related to it. This is because the blood of menstruation and blood of postpartum is not separated by, even if it was between two menstruation periods. If the woman does not realize whether the blood is of menses or of pre/post menses, it is one of the two cases: if it is menstrual blood and on days of menstruation, it is considered menstruation, provided that it is confirmed by continuing it for three days. On the other hand, if it is not as menstrual blood nor in normal days, it is considered as pre/post- menstruation blood. If it is menstrual blood and is not on the usual days of menstruation, or on the days of menstruation, but without the characteristic of menstruation, do you consider it menstruation?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if it has the characteristics of menstruation then it is menstruation. Allah knows best.
