Question:What is the reward of visiting Imam Musa Ibn Ja’far Al-Kazim (PBUH) on the day of his martyrdom?
Answer:In the name of Allah, you may read a book of supplications like Mafateeh Al-Jinan. There is no doubt that it has great rewards and the least of which is getting the intercession of Imam Kazim (PBUH) on the day on which no money or sons avail except him who comes to Allah with a heart free from evil. Question:We would like to have some clarification for Tweareej Jogging on the tenth day of Muharram. When did it start and what is your advice for the believers as far as it is concerned?
Answer:In the name of Allah, it is a reviving and remembrance for the coming of Banu Asad who were obliged by Omar Ibn Sa’ad to be away from Imam Hussein (PBUH) in his calamity. So, they could not support him (PBUH) because they were away. When the army of Omar Ibin Sa’ad left and the believers (Banu Sa’ad) knew that Imam Hussein (PBUH) was martyred and the bodies of the martyrs are not buried, they hurried in tears to Karbala to bury them. Their slogan was (Hussein Hussein Hussein) when they were running. Throughout the ages, the scholars encouraged this act and many of them participated in it. With help of Allah, it will continue until we hand it to the supporters of the Awaited Imam (AJ) when avenging Ahlulbait (PBUH) against their enemies. Allah knows best.
Question:1. It seems there are numerous ways to perform Ashura visitation and ask for our needs. What is your special way and how to do it? 2. How many times do you read the visitation text for asking your needs? 3. Are there other conditions like place and time or something else?
Answer:In the name of Allah, the visitor may visit the master of believers (PBUH) using an authentic visitation text before performing Ashura pilgrimage. After completing the visitation of the master of believers (PBUH), he may pray and then head towards the grave of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and send his salam to him briefly. Then, he may perform Imam Hussein’s visitation prayers. Only then may the visitor recite Ashura visitation text while he heads towards the Imam (PBUH). Finally, he may prostrate and recite Alqama supplication. This can be done in any time in the day unless it clashes with another obligatory act. It is recommended to repeat this for forty days to get the needs fulfilled, as per the scholars’ experience. Allah knows best.
