Question:It has been seen recently in the fortieth of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and other occasions that men and women raise white flags on which a few amounts of money are hanged. They look so shameful in terms of their shape and some ill-self people have taken this as a way of begging or harassing women by hanging money and standing and talking to them. When asking about the origin of this act, raising the flag, we had one answer only which a woman said that she got what asked for when she did this. This heresy led the people away from begging and following Ahlulbait (PBUH) and they started believing that this flag is a good omen. This led to the mixing between the two sexes and having exchanged looks amongst them.
Answer:In the name of Allah, everyone gets as per his/her intention. If a woman raises this flag intending to urge people walk to Hussein (PBUH) and give charity, then it is permissible. However, if one does what you mentioned in the question which is nonsensical, one is the only person who deserves to be judged. If a person does this while circulating round the Ka’ba, do we have to prevent people from circulation. We beseech Allah to guide us to His path. Leave the people express their love to Imam Hussein (PBUH) the way they like. Yes, we prohibit the corrupted people from corruption in the way better for all. Allah is the all Guide and Knowing.
Question:Is there a special visitation text for the master of believers (PBUH) on his martyrdom day?
Answer:In the name of Allah, a visitation text was narrated about Al-Khudhr (PBUH), but it is not sufficient. We have to recite some comprehensive visitation text like Ameen Allah text and the so-called Al-Dawra text. Allah is the all Guide and Knowing.
Question:Is there a peculiarity for the day of Mab’ath (the start of the prophethood of Muhammad (PBUH&HF)) over other normal days in terms of visiting the graves as it is known? Is it narrated in the narrations of Ahlulbait (PBUH)?
Answer:In the name of Allah, this has not been proved in an authentic source. Allah is the all Guide.
Question:It is narrated that the traditions of visiting the infallibles (PBUH) from a near place are directing oneself to the grave and giving our back to the Qibla. What is the wisdom behind that?
Answer:The dead person is put on his right side in the grave so as to make his front side directed to the Qibla. The tradition of sending one’s Salam is to do it to his front side and this cannot be done unless you direct your backside to the Qibla. This might be the wisdom behind doing that. However, the Salam of the believer is directed to the soul of the Imam who is aware of all the sides. Allah knows best.
Question:Can we recite the Major Comprehensive Form of Ziyarah (Al-Ziara Al-Jami’a Al-Kabeera) and is its content true?
Answer:In the name of Allah, it has been proved that it is authentic, so it is possible to recite it and the reciter will be rewarded for that. Allah knows best.
Question:Can we recite Warith pilgrimage text to visit Imam Hussein from our room, or should we recite it from the roof of the house?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if there is no issue when reciting it from the roof, then it is better. In addition, you can recite it from the room.
Question:A scholar said about visiting the infallibles in the days of the week: the visiting text of Saturday is part of the visiting texts of days of the week which are taken from the prophet and the infallibles (PBUH). The visiting text of days of the week including Saturday is created by some scholars except Sunday visiting text of the master of the believers (PBUH), which narrated about Imam Mahdi (PBUH). Some scholars created the text of other visitations in similar way. For Friday visiting text, it is from the prophet (PBUH&HF) and the other infallibles (PBUH). What is your opinion in this regard?
Answer:In the name of Allah, there is no doubt that visiting any infallible is recommended whether from a near or far place. The visiting text may or may not have authentic documentation, but still this deficiency is concerned with the scientific side. However, as far as the deed and performing the visitation as a whole is concerned, all of it is found in the authenticated books as acts of getting closer to and more loved by Allah and His pious men. Therefore, this makes sense and desired, hence one may be rewarded with the intercessions of Muhammad and his family (PBUH). Allah knows best.
Question:In Ashura pilgrimage text, it is mentioned “May Allah curse the first then the second then the third then the fourth and may Allah curse Yazid the fifth.” Who are meant by this?
Answer:In the name of Allah, it must be known that the creator of the this text –the infallible Imam or Allah SWT as it may be a divine saying- wanted to conceal the meaning of “the first, the second, the third and the fourth.” Guessing should be avoided as the wise do because they speak of what they know only. Allah has also done this in His holy book when He concealed many things for the common people and revealed it for the people of knowledge. For the non-Imamia, the people of knowledge got the privilege of comprehending the similar things. Therefore, guessing is not an act of wisdom and maybe the creator of the text had other things not mentioned. This is what is to be said here, although some people can get the meanings of these words through the context or through Alqama Supplication which is considered as complementary to the pilgrimage text, or through contemplating in the Quran, narrations, and traditions which specify who is the first, the second, and the third. However, this cannot be taken for granted.
Question:On days of occasions, some Mawakib (procession) owners (may Allah reward them) serve food for the visitors. Is it necessary to serve small meals to them so that there will not be extravagance? If we do so, may this contradict generosity?
Answer:In the name of Allah, it is clear that the sane person would not do something illegitimate or illogical. The Mawakib owners have to respect the guests and cook what they need. If some food remains, it is not considered a fault or sin. However, lack of food should not happen. Allah knows best.
Question:Many of Imam Hussein’s (PBUH) visitors visit him (PBUH) two or more days before Arbaeen and return before Arbaeen. Does it suffice for Arbaeen visit?
Answer:In the name of Allah, in this case, the visitor has not get the blessings of Arbaeen visit, but he got the rewards of visiting Imam Hussein in that day. Allah knows best.
