Question:Does the teacher have the right to take the minutes allocated for students to take a break from teaching, and does he have to ask the students for permission? And if students fear refusal, should he not use these minutes to teach?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if it has a benefit for the students, he does not need permission from them, but the teacher does what is beneficial to the students. It is better to get an approval from the school principal so that there is no work inconvenience. Allah knows best.
Question:Some teachers leave the class for minutes to talk to a colleague or to answer a phone call, is there religious prohibition?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if there is no religious obligation to leave the class, such as saving a life or removing injustice from an oppressed, then it is not permissible. Allah knows best.
Question:I am a teacher and I happen to have a vacancy between classes during working hours. Is it permissible for me to use this time to pray and recite Quran?
Answer:In the name of Allah, yes, it is permissible for you, unless it crowds out any of your duties in school. Allah knows best.
