Question:Is it permissible to save money for hard times?
Answer:In the name of Allah, it is permissible after the religious financial dues are paid. Allah knows best.
Question:If the taxpayer borrowed a sum of money for the purpose of the provision, is it included in Khums when it is due? If the loan is paid in the coming year, will it make the Khums of the profit for the coming year?
Answer:In the name of Allah, as long as the money borrowed - all or part of it- is with you, in the end of the Khums year, you should take out the Khums whether you paid the loan or not. Furthermore, the paying pack of the debt that you pay is included in the provision when payment is fulfilled. Allah knows best.
Question:Those who cannot own a house but through raising money for many years. Should they take out Khums from such money?
Answer:In the name of Allah, Khums should be taken from every increase when collecting money in that year but once not twice. Allah knows best.
Question:A man saves money in the bank for the expenses of the furniture of the apartment and the arrangement of the wedding, is this included in Khums when it is due?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if the Khums is not taken out of the money and the owner of the amount is able to withdraw money as he wishes to deposit in his home, then it is a must to take out the Khums. If the amount is like the loan from the bank, then the Khums must be paid only when it is received. Allah knows best.
